EUPHE was born in Paris on November 30th, 2017. EUPHE is the result of the consensus and agreement of six associations representing private universities and business schools in five European Union countries.
Thanks to the great initial work accomplished by UGEI (France) and VPH (Germany), which managed to contact and bring together AEEN (Spain), APESP (Portugal), OPUK (Austria), and UNFL (France), the first steps were given to the constitution of European Union of Private Higher Education.
The fundamental principles that link all the associations of the founding member countries are part of the act signed by all the members.
